Privacy Policy

1. What Information We Collect

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and the authentication data needed to provide account access. We do not store plain-text passwords.

Profile information. You may optionally provide your name, phone number, LinkedIn URL, and other contact details in your profile. This information is used to populate your resume and cover letter headers.

Uploaded files and generated content. When you upload a resume, achievement document, or other file, we store that file to provide the service. We also store resumes and cover letters generated through Kaxori and log applications to your Application Tracker.

Job descriptions. When you paste or fetch a job description, we store it linked to your application record for use in re-scoring, tracking, and document generation.

Usage data. We log basic usage activity to support rate limiting, error detection, and service reliability. This includes timestamps of AI calls and general feature usage. We do not sell this data.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Provide and operate the Kaxori service
Generate personalized resume, cover letter, and ATS analysis content
Manage your account, subscription, and billing
Respond to support requests
Detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and unauthorized access
Improve the reliability and quality of the service

We do not intentionally use your uploaded resume content or job application data to train our own models.

3. When Information May Be Shared

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

Service providers. We work with third-party vendors to operate the service (see Section 4). These vendors receive only the data necessary to perform their function.
Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required to do so by law, court order, or government authority.
Business transfers. If DSO Marketing X, LLC is acquired or merged, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you if that happens.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

Kaxori uses industry-standard infrastructure and service providers to operate, including:

Supabase — authentication and database hosting
Anthropic — AI processing for resume tailoring and analysis
Stripe — payment processing for subscriptions
Google — optional Google Drive integration (only when you connect it)

Each provider has its own privacy practices. We encourage you to review their policies if you have questions about how they handle data.

5. Cookies and Local Storage

Kaxori uses your browser's local storage to maintain your session, preserve settings like your model preference, and remember your profile inputs between sessions. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Clearing your browser's local storage will sign you out and remove saved preferences.

6. Data Retention and Security

We retain your account and application data for as long as your account is active. We take reasonable technical measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and secure database hosting.

No system is perfectly secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information, and we encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.

7. Your Choices and Data Requests

You can update or delete your profile information from within the app at any time. To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact us at Support@Kaxori.io. We will process deletion requests within a reasonable timeframe.

If you have connected Google Drive, you can disconnect it at any time from Settings. Disconnecting removes our stored access token.

8. Children's Privacy

Kaxori is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us at Support@Kaxori.io and we will remove it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version here with a new date. Continued use of Kaxori after an update means you accept the revised policy.
